| I've just made a conditional decision tonight. Things have led me to think that I will follow what I had planned all along. I never should've let anything change my course.
I used to think that maybe it happened for a reason. Now I know that I just need to learn to have more determination.
I'm too tired. I need a good rest. Life's too short.
| OK.. updates..
Two weekends ago, I went downtown after work to the Montana's across
from Paramount. Why? I'm thinking the following two words
would explain it all: open bar.
Yups, thats what happened. It was a Deloitte company party and we
were there to crash it. My friend aims was part organizer of it,
so she had all the drink tickets. Needless to say, we all got
pretty plastered. And no, I don't mean drunk, but plastered.
I have never drank to the point that I had memory lapses of the night
and let me tell you, it was great. The best part was, I never
even got sick. I just have trouble recalling the chain of
events. I remember having a lot of vodka shots, a lot of beer,
and some wine. Met some random people, and had some random
conversation with them. It was like frosh year all over
again! Deer didn't come around til near the end of our night at
Montana's (which really was only just 11). A few of us made it to
distrikt afterwards, although I must say that I don't quite remember
walking there. Others went to Up to drink some more at the KPMG
open bar party. Damn, you've gotta love those accountants and
their open bar parties! Anyhow, I saw trixie at distrikt cuz he's
one of the promoters, had a drink with him and danced the rest of the
night away. Deer took me home and to bed, while he stayed up and
did my two sinkfuls of dishes and took apart and washed my stove. I was like
the next morning when I realized what had happened after I passed
out. He says he did it cuz he wasn't sleepy, but I know he was
just being sweet.
Anyhow, we got up 'round 11 the next morning cuz we told sherman we'd
meet up with him, and dom down at buffalo for some shopping. Deer
and I made it down to the outlets just after 2. The two kens and
ay was there with them, too. The group of guys had gone down the
night before for some of their 'nightlife' activities. We went to
the Walden Galleria (a local mall) for more shopping afterwards before
heading back home for a late dinner. Met up with Lulu afterwards
for drinks. I haven't seen him in sooooo long! I was so
happy to see him again.
The next day (Sunday), I spent the afternoon tidying up the house in
preparation for my parents arrival. Their flight was landing at
about 6:15 (or so the schedule says). It wasn't until 5:30 that I
checked and realized that their flight was forty-five minutes early,
meaning they have already landed! I scurried out of the house
with Deer, thinking I'd be late (again!). Thank god everything is
always so slow paced in Canada, cuz I ended up having to wait a good
half hour for them anyways. Ah wells. Went out for dinner
with my parents afterwards and then it was time to unpack! Wuhoo!
It was like an early Christmas
at my house that night! Erica bought me so much stuff! I
got a bunch of new clothes, a wallet, a custom made calendar, a set of
snoopy toys from McDs in HK, the missing tigger piece of my rocking
horse collection, and much more! My god mother bought me a
bracelet and necklace for my birthday, too!

| UPDATE!! UPDATE!!
Wow.. can you believe it? I'm finally going to make an attempt and update my blog. For those of you who are still around, you should thank the pestering few who won't give up on trying to get me to blog once more. There really isn't any interesting material (or at least I haven't put enough effort into making things sound interesting), but for those of you who insist, please bare with me.
I took a sick day off on Monday 'cause I woke up with a headache, and feeling warm. That was totally my fault though, because I knew I didn't have enough covers that night, but was too lazy to get up to fetch more. Heck, I even woke up feeling cold a couple of times that night and instead of going for more covers, I just snuggled pink bear closer. Smart. So yeah, I practically slept the whole day and got up at four in the afternoon.
Manny came over 'round seven 'cause he said he'd help me rearrange the furniture in my room for me. It took me quite a while to stack all the junk I had on my desk and under my bed in the hall so that he could start. Needless to say, everything is still in the hall as of now, even my computer. That pretty much explains why I haven't been online outside of work (for those of you who've noticed). Anyhow, the setup of my room was pretty pathetic before. I'm sure anyone that's seen it would agree. Everything was in the way of everything else! Here's an idea of what it looks like:

The reason why I only waited til now to rearrange my furniture is that my mom has this thing 'bout the bed not being against the wall with the main door to my room. It sounds silly, but its a feng shui thing she's been told. Anyhow, since they're not here, I'm going to have everything done and settled in so there's not much they can do about it when they get back. I know it sounds awful, but I'm running on the technicality that I left like two inches between my bed and the wall so there is a crack there, which I made use of with one of my speakers.
Anyhow, Deer came by afterwards and the three of us went and joined up with Aims for some pick-up vball. Next Tuesday is the last game for the East Toronto League, so going Mondays would be good to take its place. We had some decent games that night and I'd say that it was a good day overall except for the misunderstanding I had with Deer by the end of the night. Arrgh, that wasn't so pleasant. (And that statement seriously didn't do it justice, but I'd rather not get into that any further.)
Some miscellaneous happenings:
-> My parents have been gone since the beginning of this month and my brother left as well last weekend (for hk) so I've had the whole house to myself. My parents will be back two weekends from now, so I've still got a week and a bit of absolute freedom.
-> Bunny's reached her age of adolcesence, so she's been randomly digging and chewing. Its getting quite annoying now as she's being the messiest she's ever been and cleaning up her cage everyday is really turning into a chore. She's also grown quite a bit, but still just as fast and nosey. Will try and update with pictures later of Bunny and the cage that Erica built her before she left (for hk as well). But yes, the final verdict is that Bunny will be spayed after I go back to school in Waterloo. That way, I'll have more spare time to look after her in case anything should go wrong.
-> Work still sucks and thats another factor as to why I'm blogging. If only dev can be a little more consistent with the deployments, I'll be one happy gal. There's only so much you can do on the internet at work in an open area seven hours a day for two and a half months.
-> Oh yah, and I can't update with any real pictures because my parents took my camera back to hk with them!
There.. is this post long enough?
| Happy Birthday Erica!
I haven't posted since forever... but since you specifically requested it... hahahaha..
(Annie drove me over to Erica's late last night cuz I baked her an angel food cake. And for those of you who are wondering why I'm posting this today... is because today is Erica's birthday according to the lunar calendar. <I did not forget her birthday is also Oct 5 according to the regular calendar>)
| Things has been going swell lately. Just chilling, relaxing, and running general errands til work starts. Oh, and guess what? As I predicted, my "flamer" from two week ago came by and left another comment. Haha, its almost like I have a dedicated subscriber! Needless to say, I feel compelled to reply. *Ah-hem* so here goes.
Dear flamin' ddface,
Its been fun hearing back from you. I'm sorry I didn't write sooner, but I actually do have better things to do. You've left various clues including a trail of condescending tones and remarks as to who you really are. However, I fear that your comments has gotten rather generic and disappointing. Attacking this page and its contents is simply distasteful. I'm glad you find it rewarding as an outlet of your negative energy. Nonetheless, I must say that it is unhealthy, and hope you can find other means of letting out your frustration.
Oh by the way, you've been blocked. And in case you haven't noticed, this is a personal webpage, which means I have the right to post and delete whatever I like including your flames. (There was a warning above the comment box if you'd care to read it.) Also, if you have any further comments or questions, I'm sure you can find help by dialing 1-800-DUMB-ASS. The people there will gladly assist you. Oh, and by all means feel free to create another account to attack this page and indicate just how much time you really do have on your hands. I'm sure your fellow readers will really feel sorry for you then. I reserve the right to ignore and delete any further postings.
Sincerely,
